Position Summary:

Provides support to Benco Dental’s Strategic Market’s department Equipment and Technology sales. Creates equipment and technology quotes for all regional groups, large groups, and government customers. Develops and maintains customer specific equipment formularies. Works closely with the field directors, regional Equipment Specialists, and Strategic Markets Equipment Coordinators to ensure the equipment sales process is efficient and effective.

Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?

  • Strong Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables.

  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency is a must.

  • Strong communication skills required.  Must be able to communicate with internal and external customers, and vendors.

  • Working knowledge of Painless and Prelude preferred.

  • Knowledge of dental equipment and technology preferred.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Majority of weekly time spent will be focused on Large Groups, Regional groups, and Government Accounts.

  • Produces equipment quotes in a timely and accurate manner. 

  • Maintains database of customer specific margins to be used in the quoting process.

  • Builds, develops, and maintains customer specific equipment formularies.

  • Communicates directly with customers on quote requests.

  • Establishes productive and professional relationships with customer, vendor, and internal Benco stakeholders.

  • Maintains in strictest confidence the strategic objectives of Benco Dentals’ Strategic Markets Including annual strategic objectives, sales goals and objectives, profit margins, gross margins, customer lists, and other critical information.

  • Actively looks for process improvement areas to improve the equipment quoting and formulary processes.

  • Completes adhoc request as needed, including providing equipment spec sheets, sell sheets, etc. to internal and external customers.

  • Develops relationships with manufacturers regarding special pricing, equipment information, etc. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

  • All job duties and responsibilities are essential functions of the position.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
