Position Summary:

The duty of a Benco Software Sales Consultant is to bring innovative, value-add software and IT Managed services to dental practices. This role is mainly responsible for selling Benco's comprehensive IT support plan via an informative and educational approach. This person will also demo and sell various software solutions for practice management and advanced apps that drive practice growth. As a sales consultant, you will be passionate about helping customers find the right solutions to grow and protect their practice.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Interest in obtaining a deep understanding of Benco's IT Managed Support plan, dental practice management software (specifically Open Dental), and other software products in the portfolio.
  • Schedules and conducts product specific pitches and demos, detailing the main functionality and key features within a program. Demos are mainly conducted via video and screen sharing.
  • Initiates and follows through the entire sale process from lead entry to customer onboarding.
  • Properly tracks and follows up on all leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and the Benco salesforce and acts as a subject matter expert to our salesforce.
  • Occasionally attends trade shows to represent Benco and pitch our solutions to customers in person.  
  • Occasionally co-travels with outside sales reps to visit customers and drive lead generation. 

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 0 to 1 year’s sales experience. Experience in software development or software sales is preferred. Interest in software solutions is required.
