Position Summary:

The Field Director, Dental Labs will help lead Benco Dental’s efforts to become a major player in the dental lab space.  The ideal candidate in this new position will utilize their deep understanding of the lab space to create and execute a go-to-market strategy for medium (10-50 people) and large (50-150 people) dental labs, expand relationships with labs and manufacturer partners, be a liaison between Benco’s traditional sales force and dental labs where applicable, and achieve sales and profitability goals for this segment.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Create and execute a go-to-market strategy for sales to medium and large dental labs.
  • Develop and maintain key account relationships, conduct business reviews, and become a strategic partner with key account leaders and owners.
  • Leads the involvement of Benco Dental sales representatives at each account and provides ongoing coaching to win new, and expand current, business in this segment.
  • Proactively assesses customer needs; while bringing solutions and solution-based ideas to address customer needs.
  • Works with manufacture personnel, support and service, and other resources to maintain and grow business opportunities for Benco Dental.
  • Maintains and grows profitable sales. Initiates strategic objectives within the account.
  • Involved in strategic planning process as related to Benco Dentals’ Strategic Markets.
  • Maintains in strictest confidence the strategic objectives of Benco Dentals’ Strategic Markets Department. Including strategic objectives, sales goals and objectives, profit margins, gross margins, customer lists, and other critical information.
  • Displays a high sense of urgency to customer needs, and other requested information.
  • Continually prospects for new dental lab accounts.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
  • Must have prior dental experience and a deep knowledge of the dental labs space.
  • Must have a strong sales background and proven experience navigating complex organizations and projects.  
  • PC proficient. Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge a must.
  • This position requires 30%-50% travel.
