Position Summary:

This sales-focused individual is responsible for Benco’s CPX Experience at CenterPoint, the country’s largest, most comprehensive dental showroom. Host our customers by managing their itinerary and making sure all goals for the CPX are met; demonstrate dental equipment, (and ensure it is operable and software is updated for every CPX visit ; and share product knowledge and insight with honesty and integrity. You are proud to represent Benco, and you exemplify that in all your interactions with customers.

Support sales representatives by accommodating their needs for the CPX, contributing to product discussion, and introducing design-related products and services to the customer. You are considered a subject matter expert in equipment, the showroom, and CenterPoint Design. Deliver a wonderful and memorable experience for all!

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate strong, up-to-date knowledge of dental equipment and other offerings from Benco Dental.
  • Create rapport with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Accumulate the appropriate knowledge and expertise through continuous learning and self-development. Then, armed with the right tools and knowledge, add value.
  • Build relationships with vendors, customers and Benco colleagues.
  • Benco Difference:  Ensure VIPs understand that buying from Benco offers the best overall value for their equipment and design dollar and that Benco is the company of “choice”.
  • Become an expert in, and continuously learn about equipment, especially what is new and improved, digital imaging, CADCAM and design – and present honestly and ethically. Educate on dental technology.
  • Explain and offer the benefits of services such as CenterPoint Design, Clarion Financial, Vivarra, Lutron shades and lighting controls, and Benco IT Solutions.
  • Interface regularly with vendor reps and manufacturing partners and participate in training with partners on a regular basis to build knowledge/relationships.
  • Ability to quarterback complex sales demonstrations, as required, in the areas of core equipment, CAD/CAM, imaging, hard tissue laser, and software, etc.
  • Solicits written and video testimonials from VIPX customers.
  • Ensure VIPs are delighted with all experiences at CenterPoint - including equipment selection/demonstration, design services and seminars, satisfying the goals of the day, and general comfort. Provide personalized service and be hospitable.
  • Work with Design, Marketing and Purchasing departments to ensure the newest product and most popular selling products are shown at CenterPoint. Help coordinate sale of showroom equipment, as necessary.
  • Coordinate upkeep of showroom equipment inventory and appearance by scheduling Benco Repair Technicians and manufacturer technicians, phoning technical support, renewing license keys prior to expiration, and hiring contractors, as needed.
  • Take a leading role in supporting/ hosting Design Workshops at CenterPoint.
  • Ensure showroom is well stocked with current literature, samples, swatches and refreshments.
  • Promote the VIP Experience internally to TRs and ES’ via SharePoint, email, phone calls, and follow ups.
  • Contribute to the development of programs and tools that will entice customers to visit CenterPoint and improve the VIP Experience.
  • Role may include tracking the metrics of all VIP trips

Market Knowledge:

  • Understand the dental environment and monitor trends in dentistry.
  • Understand the I.O. Scanner workflow
  • Understand the 3D Printer workflow
  • Understand Dental Design software
  • Understand the wet and dry milling workflow
  • Co-travel with Benco Territory Representatives and Equipment Specialists when applicable
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • College Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications, or equivalent sales or industry experience.
  • Two years dental industry experience required, CAD/CAM experience preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
