Position Summary:

The Event Coordinator is responsible for designing the customer experience for CPX trips, and trips to our Vendor Partner showrooms. Designing the experience starts with monitoring a queue of requests, scheduling trips on the calendar with the appropriate participants and is followed by a process where the Events Coordinator prepares overnight accommodations, airfare, ground transportation and meals. This role works closely with Equipment Specialists to create a white glove, bespoke experience for our customers who are spending their time with us. Additionally, this role will support marketing operations and execute administrative duties pertaining to these trips and the operations of Brand & Communications Department. The best candidate for this position has a strong sense of urgency, stellar customer service skills, is eager to not only satisfy, but impress the customer; both internal and external. At times this person will assist with duties pertaining to the events planned by the team.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Book all reservations for CenterPoint Experience Visits including hotel, transportation, dinner reservations. This will also include any reservations that include requests for help with booking additional activities that are tied into the CenterPoint Experience trip. 

  • Travel to remote event locations to execute events in compliance with our standards and best practices.   

  • Review and reconcile billing for Events & Marketing Operations department. 

  • Monitor timelines for multiple projects and escalate scheduling problems as needed. 

  • Responsible for building and running post-event surveys and other related reporting around customer visits, events and meetings. 

  • Work effectively with multiple clients and event hosts to ensure that meeting objectives are met. 

  • Respond to customer and internal client requests in a timely professional manner.  Quickly and professionally handle all telephone, written and electronic inquiries and requests for information. 

  • Responsible for contributing to the design of standards and processes for the team, and executing on those standards, for instance updating the sales event calendar, printing name badges for event guests, etc. 

  • Document and continuously improve all team processes. 

  • Other duties as necessary to contribute to the overall success of the team. 

  • Evening and weekend availability required. 
    All job duties and responsibilities are essential functions of the position. 

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3+ years of experience in the event management industry
